Appeals Procedure & Dispute Resolution
Appeal's Procedure
Right to Appeal
It is CGCERT's policy to provide applicants with an opportunity of formal appeal against certification decisions with which they disagree.
Submitting an Appeal
An applicant dissatisfied with the certification decision can appeal to CGCERT in writing. Supporting documents such as inspection checklist, notification of non-compliances, copy of certification decision, and evidence against the decision must be included.
Appeals Committee Review
The Appeals Committee of CGCERT will carefully examine the certification procedures undertaken by the operator and compliance with applicable NPOP standards. All decisions are made objectively and impartially.
Final Decision
All decisions taken by the Appeals Committee shall be final. Appeals are decided within ninety days from the date of acknowledgement of appeal.
Further Appeal to APEDA
Applicants may also submit a formal appeal to APEDA against the decisions of the Appeals Committee of CGCERT.
